June Auction

This sculpture is called Stoneflower and is a prototype. There is nothing wrong with it…I am just not making this design anymore. It would be best not to have this one outside in the winter as there are no drainage holes in it. It stands about 28cm high and has a green glaze with little crystals in it.

Sunday 25th June…….8pm

Current bid      to    frances.doherty@gmail.com

I have decided to have a clear out of the studio and auction off all those pieces of work which are sitting around taking up my space. These are sculptures which are prototypes or seconds, or have simply been sitting there with no home to go to. Some of them have firing faults…a glaze crawl, a small crack etc, but I will describe them exactly as I put them up for sale. I will do one a month with no reserve so this is your chance to pick up a piece of work for much less than the retail price.
The way it works is this…..if there is a sculpture you would like to bid on…..send me an email straight to my email box at      frances.doherty@gmail.com     and tell me the amount you would like to pay. The latest price that I have been offered will be posted on this page, and I will update it each time I get a bid. The sculpture will go to the highest bid that I recieve by the time the auction ends. That time and date will be under the latest bid, which will be by the sculpture description at top of page.
If you are local the sculpture can be collected from me otherwise postage and packaging will be a seperate cost depending on the size and weight of the sculpture….but I will charge at cost only.

Hi Fran
Happy New Year! Wow, you’ve been busy. I love to hear what’s going on in your French abode. Weather’s been crazy everywhere!
I would like to put in a counter bid of £85. Thanks, Jaynex

So sorry to see what happened in your studio!
The hydrangea looks great in our fireplace, standing on black slate.
We have been here in the Gers for a few days but going back on Thursday. It has been good to have a few days peace here and catch up with our friends.
Hope to see you when you are next in Brighton.
Best wishes
